Fear of the different kind...

Recently I went on a trekking trip to the Big Bend National Park. Its a beautiful place to the West of Texas. Now when I say west of texas I mean we were still in Texas. In texas you could drive West for 14hrs and still be in texas, unlike the other places in the US where you can drive for six hrs and cross 6 different state borders!
Well we started this 6 mile trek very enthusiastically and everyone wanted to dash off before the others. This was until we can across this sign..........



Now I had heard that common fears bring people together. I was witness to that now....we started walking closely and were chatting throughout the trek after that!! Everyone trying to convince the other that why the lion 'will' or 'wil not' cross roads with us. Some of us actually wanted an encounter with the beast. (Un) fortunately we were not the chosen ones. The trek was fun though. This was what awaited us at the end......
